Texas Republicans won by going all-in on MAGA. Now they have to sell it to everyone else.

Some political scientists in the state believe going all-in on MAGA may have drawn a line in the sand, potentially hampering how well GOP nominees attract swing voters.
The lightning-sparked house fires in Cinco Ranch serve as a stark warning to residents of The Woodlands, who face similar risks due to the area's location in a region prone to Gulf hurricane and flooding risks. Given The Woodlands' proximity to Houston and its own history of severe weather events, residents should be vigilant about taking precautions to protect their homes and properties from storm-related damage. The fact that three firefighters were injured while responding to the Cinco Ranch fires also underscores the bravery and risks taken by first responders in Montgomery County, including those serving The Woodlands Township. As the region heads into the peak hurricane season, residents of The Woodlands would do well to review their emergency preparedness plans and ensure they have a plan in place in case of severe weather.
