NASA announces all-male crew for upcoming Artemis III mission, slated for next year
By Michael Adkison at Houston Public Media

· 1 min read
Coming on the heels of the historic mission around the moon and back earlier this year—which brought the first woman in lunar territory—NASA has picked a racially diverse albeit all-male crew for next year’s mission in low Earth orbit.
The new clinic's impact will be felt beyond Fort Bend County, as many veterans from neighboring Montgomery County, including those residing in The Woodlands, often seek medical care in the greater Houston area. With The Woodlands' proximity to Houston and its own growing population of veterans, this clinic's increased capacity to serve double the number of veterans and their families could lead to reduced wait times and improved access to care for local residents. As construction on the clinic proceeds, The Woodlands Township and local veterans' organizations may explore ways to provide transportation or other support services to help connect area veterans with the new facility, enhancing its benefits for the community. The clinic's completion in 2027 will be a welcome development for the region's veterans, and its effects will likely be seen in The Woodlands and surrounding areas.
